Climatic Conditioning

What is it?

Conditioning testing involves exposing a package or a product to controlled temperatures and humidities to simulate various climatic changes that it may encounter during distribution and storage.

Why do it?

Your package/product will behave differently in varying extremes of temperatures and humidities. For example the glue used when making boxes may deteriorate in hot humid conditions where certain plastics may become brittle in cold conditions.
