HALT is a process used during the product’s design phase that provides environments which force design issues to manifest. This type of testing bring out the weakest areas in a design and give an indication if the components used in the product are suitable for their desired purpose. The HALT is used to establish the absolute working limits of the product under test

Highly Accelerated Stress Screening (HASS)

HASS is a process that can be used through out the manufacturing life cycle of a product which determines if process changes or component changes have any detrimental effect on the working and reliability of the product. The HASS process uses the working limits that were established during HALT
