What is this?
Water ingress testing is classified in international standard IEC 60529 as the degrees of protection provided against the intrusion of water into electrical enclosures. This type of testing can be in the form of water dripping, splashing, powerful water jets or total immersion in water. Water flow rates are strictly controlled in all tests for measurable results.
